Henry M. Baskerville

Henry Baskerville is an associate at Stetler, Duffy & Rotert, Ltd. Mr. Baskerville’s practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, including securities litigation and the investigation, defense at trial, and appeal of white collar criminal matters, including bank fraud, mail fraud, public corruption, and securities and tax fraud. In 2012, Mr. Baskerville was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers.

Mr. Baskerville is experienced in many aspects of trial practice and has represented numerous individual and corporate clients in a wide variety of disputes including breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, fraudulent transfers, alter ego, False Claims Act claims, breach of contract, franchise law, labor and employment disputes, insurance coverage, class action consumer cases, securities cases and bankruptcy and receivership proceedings. He has represented plaintiffs, defendants, bankruptcy trustees and court appointed receivers in State and Federal trial and appellate proceedings. Mr. Baskerville also has defended individuals and organizations during the investigative, administrative and prosecution of federal and state criminal matters.

Mr. Baskerville graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2005, and he received a Certificate in Trial Advocacy. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy, cum laude, from Boston College in 2001. Mr. Baskerville was a member of the Dean’s List, the Golden Key National Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. During law school, Mr. Baskerville was a senior editor on Loyola’s Consumer Law Review. He is a member of the bars of the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to joining Stetler, Duffy & Rotert, Ltd., Mr. Baskerville worked at a small commercial litigation firm and the City of Chicago Law Department.
