Mariah E. Moran
Mariah E. Moran is an associate at Stetler, Duffy & Rotert, Ltd., where she concentrates her practice in the defense of white collar criminal matters. Her practice is focused on representing individuals and organizations during the investigative, administrative, prosecution and appellate stages of federal criminal matters, including cases involving bank fraud, mail fraud, health care fraud, public corruption, and securities and tax fraud. Ms. Moran also has experience in conducting internal corporate investigations and in complex civil litigation matters including cases involving securities fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and fraud.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Moran served as a law clerk to the Honorable James T. Moody and the Honorable Allen Sharp, in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
Ms. Moran is a member of the Bar of Illinois Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the United States Supreme Court. She is also a member of the Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois.
Ms. Moran received her undergraduate degree from Miami University and was awarded a graduate degree in History of International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1997. In 2000, she graduated from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. She was Senior Articles Editor of the Federal Communications Law Journal.
